Amarcord Photography is the culmination of a love affair with creativity and a desire to bring something positive to the community table. Our passion for the art of photography and our love of meeting people is paramount to our success.
What does Amarcord mean?
Amarcord roughly translate as "I remember" in Emilia Romagna dialect, to look back with nostalgia.
Partners in life and business, Andrea and Mauro established Amarcord in January 2009.
After years spent travelling the globe and experiencing other professions Andrea returned to her first love of photography. A qualified and experienced photographer working under the banner of Andrea Harris Photography between 1993 and 2007 Andrea worked casually photographing weddings, portraits, commercial products and the local music scene.
Catching the travel bug and meeting Italian born Mauro in Germany as a result of this, Andrea has spent many years moving back and forth between Australia and Europe, but with camera always in hand.
With their feet firmly on the ground in Melbourne now they have joined forces in life and business.
